Spreading the Jedi Love

Howl's Moving Castle: Howl2
Got an e-mail from Del Rey today -- they're offering free copies of the New York Times bestseller Star Wars: Legacy of the Force: Betrayal through May 13. You can get the audiobook, PDF, Kindle or Sony reader versions. I haven't read this, but I just might since it's free and, well, I have a sweet spot for the original Star Wars trilogy (Don't get me started on the newer trilogy...I could seriously rant for hours).

We'll see if this leads to me actually reading any of the other books in the series, though.

Oooh, audiobook!

Have you read Star Wars EU before? Cuz if not, this one probably won't make any sense.

I read a fair few, but it sort of got a bit ridiculous, 20+ years after Return of the Jedi. Then George Lucas had to go and say that he really didn't consider any of it canon anyway and in his mind, Han Solo was more likely to be grilling burgers in the backyard than enduring all the hardships the EU had put him through. So yeah...

I'm still gonna read it though. Cuz it's free. And an audiobook.

I haven't read Star Wars EU before, but from what it sounded like, this continues after the original trilogy, so I should be able to follow it (I hope).
